HealthBridge, Kettering Health Network Send Electronic Lab Results to Ohio Department of Health

Through the secure electronic network of HealthBridge, one of the nation's largest health information exchanges, Kettering Health Network (KHN) is now sending reportable lab results for eight facilities directly to the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).

Kentucky and Tri-State REC Collaborate on a New Practice Transformation Initiative
The Kentucky and Tri-State Regional Extension Centers (RECs) announced today a new initiative to help physician practices and clinics in Kentucky achieve better health, better outcomes and lower costs for patients.  

“We are delighted to offer support to practices as they prepare for the many changes ahead in health care,” stated Rob Edwards, executive director of the Kentucky REC. “We are excited to announce new services to support innovative models, such as patient centered medical home, that are proven to help practices deliver coordinated, cost-effective care for their patients.”

Chief Medical Officer Named to Lead Community Health Care Transformation Effort
The Health Collaborative, the Greater Cincinnati Health Council, and HealthBridge announce Dr. Richard Shonk has joined as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the three organizations. The three nonprofit health improvement, technology, and hospital service organizations aligned in 2012 under a common CEO.
